Turning back to Las Vegas for a moment, today’s blog post will take a look at TAO in Sin City. Another one of the tremendous nightclubs Las Vegas boasts, TAO sits in the Venetian resort, right in the middle of all the action.
First stop if you’re considering a visit to TAO - check out the website! Its glorious and gives you a great sense of the feel and sophistication of this club. Rarely have I ever seen a nightclub’s website so well done. The next thing, looking through all the reviews of the club: its going to be crowded. TAO seems to be one of those places in Las Vegas that refuses to lose its glamor after a couple of years, this club has only been shining brighter after it had its four-year anniversary.
TAO, like many other top favorite nightclubs along the Strip, boasts a huge space to pack (two dance floors, The Temple and The Emperor's Ballroom), gorgeous go-go dancers to set the mood, a nuts sound system, and world-class DJs to test the speakers’ limits. One big way TAO sets itself apart from the pack, then, is its stunning atmosphere (probably a big part of why I like the website so much). The Venetian’s website describes TAO as having the capability to transport guests “from the City of Sin to the Pacific Rim,” and the aesthetic suits a luxury nightclub and lounge remarkably well. Everything, from the waterfalls and woods and stones, to the rich tapestries and Buddhas and koi fish, can be described as absolutely lush. TAO brings an incredible party to a verdant, lavish environment.
Another way TAO takes the party to the next level is with what seems to be a kind of magnetism for celebrities. From the reviews of the nightclub to the descriptions of TAO with long lists of big-name glimpses, it seems that the rich and the famous have a representative at TAO nearly every night. TAO has an incredible VIP offering, which it bodes well to take advantage of, since the non-VIP line wait can reach up to 3 hours long. VIP guests can reserve one of six skyboxes, bringing the party up a level, to get premium bottle service and maximize encounters with the A-list crowd.
Some upcoming events at TAO include Z-Trip on the 13th of January, followed by top name ATB playing on the 20th. Look for one of VIP Club Scene’s favorite, Dash Berlin, coming to TAO later on February 17th, and then Dirty South on the next week, the 24th. In addition to this, a hot weekly event at TAO is “Worship Thursdays,” which won Best Weekly Party at the Las Vegas Nightlife Awards. DJ Five spins at Worship Thursdays to locals and celebrities alike. One thing is for sure, TAO in Las Vegas learned a lot after bringing the party for five years, and its all reflected in how great this nightclub has become.
