I just started typing and my mouth is already watering. As a fellow Mexican, I’m here to confirm that yes, we do love spicy food and yes, we are extra. We like to take our drinks and food to the next level.
So, let me introduce you to a drink that’s quickly gaining popularity: Micheladas. Consider it the Mexican Bloody Mary.
To make this drink, you can keep it simple by first rubbing a lime wedge on the rim of the glass and dipping it in some chili powder. Then, add some Clamato (light tomato cocktail found in most stores), beer, some lime, and salt.
OR, you can be extra (preferred method).
Behold: the Michelada Loca. Yes, you’re seeing that correctly, it’s got fruit in it, some candy, and even some peanuts! It’s a snack, a drink, and a dessert all in one.
