Remix of the Week: "Play Hard" -- R3hab Remix

What happens when you take a pop hit like David Guetta’s “Play Hard” and leave it to one of the top remixers in the EDM scene to rework it? You get a MONSTER remix, that’s what!!

R3hab has been dropping some of the sickest remixes in the past few years and this remix of Guetta’s pop track is no exception. The original version, from Guetta’s Nothing But The Beat 2.0, features vocals from Ne-Yo and Akon and the unmistakable chorus from Alice Deejay’s “Better Off Alone.” R3hab gives it the recognizable Dutch treatment: keep some of Ne-Yo’s vocals, add some well-placed hard drops and voila! You have the perfect head banger, assured to make a few EDM fans jump higher than ever this festival season and in clubs everywhere.

Check it out below! And don’t forget: “Work hard. Play hard”!

You can also check out the five other remixes including remixes by Spencer & Hill, Maurizio Gubellini, and Albert Neve, available on Spotify and Beatport.
