Today I’ll be talking a little bit more about some of the parties surrounding the Ultra Music Festival - the hottest places to catch an after-party and let loose after hearing some of the greatest music on the planet. First, though, I’ll talk a little bit about the VIP amenities that have been made available at the Ultra Music Festival itself. Tickets are sold out, even though the show won’t be blowing up Miami until late next month – so if you don’t have tickets already, good luck finding some!
For those who’ve gotten ahold of the VIP option for the music festival, you are most certainly in luck, and get ready for pristine service at one of the world’s premiere events. The VIP areas are all covered, and feature a preferred viewing area of all stages. There’s a separate VIP entrance to dodge the lines getting in, specific VIP bars and restrooms, and seating areas with air conditioning and couches. On top of all this is the VIP specials: a VIP / Artist meet and greet, giving access to DJs and band members; there’s the VIP Ultra Village, the most comfortable place to enjoy the festival from; finally the VIP gift bags, which include exclusive official, limited edition merchandise and swag. If you’re going to be heading out to the Ultra Music Festival in style, then get ready for a musical experience as luxurious as the music is top tier.
What about the times around the festival itself? I wrote about a couple of parties to check out, but it seems like all of Miami is going to be going hard all week later in March. I’ll take a look at the start of the week more chronologically, instead of focusing on a single club, hotel, or event.
Starting off is the first Friday, March the 16th. On that day is the Opening Pool Party at the Surfcomber Hotel, but then on Saturday there’s a whole line up (but look to my other post for Surfcomber, Space and SET): 2 Regions, 1 Mission at The Cresendos Piano Bar, Derrick Carter at Shelborne Shrine as well as Electric Beach Miami at Nikki Beach. Check all those out, I wish I could devote more time to each one! After that is the weeks’ build up to the Ultra Music Festival, once the party is underway. Sunday there’s the Infinity Minds Pool Party at the Marseilles and the Sexy and Wet Pool Party at Club 50, another top club in Miami worth a look. Monday is Markus Schulz Coldharbour Night at Dream (this guy is busy busy!) and the Winter Music Conference at the Catalina Hotel, be sure to check out some associated parties with that event too! Artists and celebrities will certainly be in abundance. Tuesday features the 5th annual Future Classics Pool Party at The National Hotel (Paul Oakenfold, what?), Global Connection at Dream, Miami Massive at Nikki Beach, Mindshake at Treehouse Miami, and so much more I’m just going to run out of space. Check out some of these parties, and instead of just continuing with lists I’m going to come back and talk more about a couple clubs and parties in them that slowly approach in later posts.
