It's fun to imagine what the lives of celebrities must be like. Not all celebrities are the same, though. Some seem like they lead very elegant lifestyles while others seem to lead a life of nonstop partying.
The EDM scene has blown up recently and one of its leading men is Diplo. But what is his life really like? Is it really as extravagant as we are led to believe?
In Viceland's first scripted series, actor James Van Der Beek will star as EDM DJ Diplo in a show titled, "What Would Diplo Do?"
Diplo, himself, will be an executive producer of the show, but will not appear in the episodes.
The series is inspired by Diplo's personal stories and parodies his life as a successful EDM DJ. Van Der Beek, who is best known for his work in Dawson's Creek, first played Diplo in a promo video back in 2016 that was used to promote The Mad Decent Block Party tour.
Another familiar face is comedian Bobby Lee who is best known for starring on Mad TV.
The show will premiere August 3 on Viceland. Check out the trailer below.
